The need for transportation has increased significantly in the past years due to the aging of the population and the specialisation of medical treatment. The transportation of heavy patients has also continuously increased. In many countries, the occupational health of people working in the fields of rescue and health care has become ever more important than before. Sick leaves have increased because of, among other things, back strains due to faulty working positions.

Pensi has taken up the challenge by taking a head start in R&D into a more ergonomic direction.
